Sodalitas Labrador Retrievers

Sodalitas Labrador Retrievers are located in the Western district of Victoria in the rural city of Hamilton, gateway to the Grampians.

The name Sodalitas was derived from the Latin word meaning companionship, friendship and these are some of the fantastic

characteristics of the Labrador Retriever breed that we hope all our puppies and dogs go on to have and enjoy with their owners.

We aim to breed Labradors of excellent health, temperament and type, and have selected lovely girls who are physically healthy,

beautiful and display the classic and dependable characters associated with the breed. Typically we tend to breed black and chocolates,

 however we are equally happy to welcome a yellow if it happened along in any of our litters.

We own two dams a mother (Whoopi) and daughter (Tartufo) who are both chocolate in colour.

However as of 2006 Whoopi will retire from further breeding programmes and will only have grandmotherly duties to attend to!

We select fathers for our litters from other reputable breeders who are registered with the correct authorities.

Principally we breed for people who are after quality pets. However we believe our dogs would make excellent working retrievers.

All of our puppies are either whelped and/or raised at our home. Their home life is quiet and peaceful, but filled with a nice balance of love

and activities to keep them both happy and healthy.  We enjoy living and playing with our Labs every day and they are very much a part of our family.

If you believe that you could offer a Sodalitas Labrador a loving home and would cherish the companionship and loyalty that a Lab

could offer you, then by all means, seriously consider making a Lab part of your life.

However we do stress you should look into all breeds you are thinking of purchasing and examine closely whether the

dog/breed is appropriate for your lifestyle.
