Conditions

The consideration for this sale will be for the sum of $xxx.xx Chocolate puppy and $xxx.xx Black puppy as the purchase price plus the terms and conditions listed below:

1.The above named dog shall be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of delivery of the dog to the buyer. If the veterinarian determines the dog to be ill or unsound, the buyer may return the puppy for a full refund, provided the dog is in the same condition as at the time of delivery by the seller. If the dog is returned for the above reason the buyer shall provide a written statement from the veterinarian. This includes death or illness from any health condition present prior to removal from the seller's property. The refund is limited to the purchase price of the dog does not include any veterinary, shipping or other expenses incurred by the buyer.

2. This buyer agrees and binds himself/herself to take good and reasonable care of the dog so as to provide housing, food, water and affection throughout its lifetime. The dog will not be neglected or mistreated in any manner

3. The dog will receive adequate and proper veterinary care throughout its lifetime and all vaccinations will be maintained to ensure preventative health care.

4. If it becomes necessary for any reason for the buyer to sell or dispose of the dog, he/she agrees to give the seller first opportunity to take on the dog.

5. The dog shall not be used for the purpose of vivisection and shall not be sold to or by any wholesale establishment, chain store, catalogue house, pet store or "puppy mill."

6. The buyer agrees to notify the seller of any titles earned by the dog.

7. There are no other health guarantees expressed or implied.

Sodalitas Labrador Retrievers Responsible Breeder Guidelines

1. A Breeder who is a member of SACA, VCA and Labrador Retriever Club of South Australia who follows care and obligation guidelines as set out by these bodies.(Or other registered body).

2. A Breeder who interviews potential puppy homes either in person or on the phone.

3. A Breeder who never lets a puppy go to new home before 8 weeks of age or before 12 weeks if domestic or international flights are required.

4. A Breeder who completes all health standards for dogs up to this age, including veterinary checks, immunizations and worming.

5. A Breeder who states in the contract the seller will take the puppy back (Subject to Veterinary documentation).

6. A Breeder who offers lifetime support for the puppy buyer.

7. A Breeder who does conducts health checks on dam and sire of all litters relating to hips, elbows, eyes.

8. A Breeder who gives a displays  all health clearances to buyers

9. A Breeder who loves and cares for dogs and the breed, providing a clean and safe environment for the breeding of dogs.

Litter Deposit

An initial deposit is required to secure a puppy for the buyer. This will be refunded if the purchaser on inspection of the litter(s) and or dam(s) feels that the animals are not the quality/health they desire. A deposit will not be refunded if another dog is purchased from a different source.

As discussed in the agreement the total purchase price will be refunded to the buyer if condition 1. has not been met by the seller.
